Sunflower meal is another name for sunflower de-oiled cake. This is a by-product of extraction of oil from sunflower seeds. It is high in nutrition and is a rich source of protein and fiber. It is an excellent livestock feed and is ideal for composting purpose for the production of mushrooms. It is usually feed to dairy cows that have a high energy requirement.
